INTRODUCTION
What it means to be a Self-Recruiter

Empowerment. Control. Achievement. It’s all about taking control back for yourself and realizing that by adding focus to your efforts, those efforts become much more effective. Many things that seemed impossible, suddenly become within reach. By looking at things from a different angle, you really can solve most any problem. Then those problems or obstacles that were holding us back –are no longer blocking our path to success. The two day program will be outlined in the introduction so participants understand how it will benefit them and help them to achieve their goals.

RESUME LAB, Part 1

In this first hands-on Resume Lab, participants will work individually on the changes they need to make to their own resumes, by applying what they have been taught during the Resume Renovation session. As each individual works on their resume, I will be circulating to give guidance and to answer any questions that they may have.

Presentation Coaching with John Crant

This second hands-on Resume Lab session will begin with brief one-on-one resume reviews to help point out opportunities in content, formatting and style. Participants will then continue to refine their new resumes. While the Resume Lab is progress, I will work one-on-one, with participants that want direct additional coaching, on refining their presentations in preparation for Career Fair opportunities.

OPEN QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

This session is designed as an open forum where participants can ask any job search related questions they may have and talk about any obstacles that they may face. It will close with a quick review of the day, and a preview of what they will learn on Day Two of the program.
